Welcome to PlanYourShadi. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the PlanYourShadi website, digital products and bespoke spreadsheet services.
By purchasing from or using PlanYourShadi, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. About PlanYourShadi
PlanYourShadi provides digital wedding planning products, including digital wedding planners, spreadsheets, templates and bespoke spreadsheet services.
Our products are designed to help you organise and manage your wedding planning. They are planning and organisational tools and are not intended to replace professional financial, legal, wedding or other professional advice.
2. Digital Products
Our standard products are digital products. No physical product will be shipped.
After purchasing a digital planner, you will receive an email containing a PDF or other access information which provides a link to your purchased digital planning sheet.
You are responsible for providing an accurate email address at checkout. If you enter an incorrect email address, delivery may be delayed or we may be unable to provide access until the issue is resolved.
You should check your spam, junk and promotions folders if you do not see your delivery email.
3. Personal Use Licence
When you purchase a PlanYourShadi digital product, you are purchasing a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the product for your own personal wedding planning purposes.
Your purchase does not transfer ownership of the underlying template, spreadsheet, design, content, structure or intellectual property to you.
You may use the purchased planner to plan and manage your own wedding and may enter your own personal information into it.
You must not:
Share the purchased planner or its access link with other people outside your intended planning group.
Copy, duplicate or reproduce the planner or substantial parts of it.
Resell, redistribute, sublicense or commercially exploit the planner.
Give away the planner, whether for free or for payment.
Upload the planner or its contents to websites, marketplaces, file-sharing services or social media for others to access.
Make the planner available to the public.
Remove or alter copyright, branding or ownership notices.
Use the planner to create a competing product or template.
Reproduce, modify or adapt the planner for the purpose of selling or distributing another product.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to PlanYourShadi systems, files or products.
Your purchase is for your own use and is not a licence to share or distribute the product.
If we reasonably believe that a product or access link has been shared, copied, redistributed or otherwise used in breach of these Terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access.
4. Sharing With Your Partner
We understand that wedding planning is often a joint activity.
You may use your planner with your partner or members of your immediate wedding planning group for the purpose of planning your wedding, provided that the planner is not copied, redistributed, resold or made available beyond its intended personal use.
You remain responsible for ensuring that the planner and its access details are not publicly shared or distributed.
5. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in PlanYourShadi products remain the property of PlanYourShadi or its relevant licensors.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Spreadsheet templates
Designs
Layouts
Formulas
Written content
Graphics
Branding
Logos
Product concepts
Website content
Original planning systems and structures
Purchasing a product does not give you ownership of these materials.
You receive only the limited right to use the purchased product in accordance with these Terms.
6. Bespoke Spreadsheet Services
PlanYourShadi may also offer bespoke spreadsheet and planning services.
For bespoke projects, the exact scope, features, price and estimated delivery timeframe will be agreed with you before work begins.
Bespoke work may include custom spreadsheet layouts, formulas, trackers, dashboards, planning systems and other functionality agreed between you and PlanYourShadi.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, intellectual property in the underlying systems, templates, methods, formulas and reusable components created by PlanYourShadi remains with PlanYourShadi.
You receive a licence to use the completed bespoke product for the purpose for which it was created.
7. Changes to Bespoke Projects
Bespoke projects are created according to the requirements agreed before work begins.
Requests that significantly change the original scope may incur an additional charge.
If additional work is required, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.
8. Pricing and Payment
All prices displayed on the website are stated in the applicable currency and are subject to any applicable taxes or charges shown at checkout.
Payment must be completed before a standard digital product is provided.
For bespoke services, payment terms will be communicated before work begins.
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders that have already been successfully placed.
9. Refunds and Cancellations
Because our standard products are digital products, we do not offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind or no longer require the product.
However, nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
If your digital product is defective, does not match its description, or you experience an issue accessing the product, please contact us by email. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue, which may include providing access, correcting an issue or supplying a replacement where appropriate.
Where applicable, your statutory rights under UK consumer law remain unaffected.
10. Digital Content and Access
We aim to ensure that our digital products are accurately described and accessible following purchase.
However, access may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including third-party platforms, internet connectivity, software changes, technical outages or service interruptions.
If you experience an access problem, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it.
11. Third-Party Platforms
Our digital products may use or rely on third-party platforms or services, such as spreadsheet or cloud-storage platforms.
Your use of those platforms may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
PlanYourShadi is not responsible for changes, outages or restrictions imposed by third-party platforms outside our reasonable control.
12. Accuracy of Information
Our planners are designed as organisational tools.
While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that our products function as described, we do not guarantee that using a planner will result in a particular wedding budget, saving, outcome or level of organisation.
You remain responsible for checking your own information, bookings, payments, dates, guest numbers and other wedding arrangements.
13. Your Information
When purchasing from or contacting PlanYourShadi, you may provide personal information such as your name, email address and wedding planning information.
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please do not enter highly sensitive personal information into your wedding planner unless it is necessary for your planning purposes.
14. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the PlanYourShadi website.
You must not:
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
Introduce malicious software or harmful code.
Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
Copy substantial portions of the website's content or design.
Use the website for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to obtain products or services through fraudulent means.
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, PlanYourShadi will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our products or services.
This may include losses arising from wedding arrangements, missed deadlines, incorrect information entered into a planner, supplier issues, bookings, payments or other decisions made using information recorded in our products.
However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.
16. Availability
We aim to keep the PlanYourShadi website and digital products available, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
We may occasionally need to carry out maintenance, updates or changes to our website or products.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will be published on our website with the updated date shown at the top.
Any changes will apply from the date they are published, unless otherwise stated.
18. Termination
If you materially breach these Terms, including by sharing, copying, reselling or distributing a PlanYourShadi product without permission, we may suspend or terminate your access to the relevant product.
Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you will also benefit from any mandatory consumer protection rights available to you under the laws that apply to your circumstances.
